The Before

Ok- so here's a before shot of our next project. This is the front bedroom that we have never really done anything with. After six years of hoping for it to be a baby room, we are just going to force ourselves to do something else with it. We can't bring ourselves to give up yet; but at least we will be able to enjoy this room instead of it being a sore spot in the house, and ending up being a hodge podge collect all.

The room looks really nice..infertility sucks. Have you tries accupuncture? We had some issues trying for our 3rd baby and it seemed to work for us. I hope you have luck someday, hang in there.

Thanks Amber- I made a few attempts here and there to put it together, but now we're going to paint it and actually decorate it.
We have tried tons but not accupuncture; I'll have to try that too! Thanks

sorry to hear that you're having problems conceiving. I think those of us who get pregnant real easy take it for granted. Luck!

I like that red wall. Are you keeping it or repainting it? We have the red wall in our bedroom that we just painted and are going to do the other big wall but i'd kind of like to do all the walls, guess we'll see. there's a lot of light in our bedroom so that will help with all the red

oh yeah....and painted walls add so much to the room. we have a light khaki on our living room walls and are going to repaint them a coffee (with creamer) brown and also our entry

Hey, I found your blog, when I was blog hopping awhile back. We don't get to see you that often so it is very nice to keep up with what is going on in your life. When you get a chance sometime drop me an email or give me a ring. I'd like to talk to you about what you have all tried in the baby making department..... I am SO sorry to hear that you are having problems conceiving.
I have been thinking about trying accupunture for awhile so if that is something you are interested in trying I can get you some info on someone that specializes in fertility. **HUGS**

good luck on the room..sorry to hear you've been trying for so long. I agree with Neisha, that those of us who get pregnant easy, just take it for granted. If you want/need to talk to someone.. my SIL would be delighted. (I can get you in touch with her or Jodelle could too) She's walked down your road, now they've adopted 2 children. Wish we lived closer.. maybe when we get back home, we can line up a chat :)

Hi Kandace! Good luck with the room. Sounds like a fun project. On the fertility side of things...have you ever heard of the book "Take Charge of your Fertility" by Toni Weschler? Good luck!! Feel free to email. sheilabaumann at hotmail dot com.

Looks nice Kandace! We have a red room too:) I was were you are too. I had a few tubs of items I was saving for when the babies would come, but I think 9 years is too long to wait, huh? I gave a bunch to my baby sister (18) that just had a baby. Of all the luck. Got rid of the rest. Have fun redecorating!
