Cut-out-Cookies

We enjoyed the beautiful weather this past weekend by spending all day in the yard. Got all the leaves cleaned out and everything put away for the winter.
I didn't get my camera out soon enough to catch Duey and Charlie right up against the fence talking to the neighbor. (To me it was really cute)

Charlie spent all day out in the yard with us- that night he was so tired he just flopped and didn't even wake up when we'd move him:)

Of course Harley have to watch everything too:)

Duey had seen this sign when he was working in the area, so he had to take me to see it for myself

There was a whole row of these trees with a beautiful mixture of green, red, and purple leaves.

Yet another Duey note I found when I got home from work the other night. He must have been afraid I would eat all the chocolate on him! All I can say is a least life is interesting with him:)

Duey must be having issues remembering his lunch again. I found it kinda funny when I pulled in the garage after work the other night to see his stuff all laid out on the trunk.

Mom and My project

This is what I spent all day yesterday doing. I'm extremely sore today, but proud that we got it mostly done. We'll wait till spring to plant.

Fall

After Menomonie dad and I cut some stalks for our decorations. There we were at night, in the rain, cutting stalks:)

Tony and Sarah came over for the game Monday night and Charlie insisted on being on Tony's lap:)


Jenny at work- you know it's getting cold when for the first flight you have to wear your parka over the uniform, a sweatshirt, and another jacket.

Carving Pumpkins

Yesterday I only worked in the morning; so we went and got pumpkins in the afternoon, did some fall decorating, and carved a couple pumpkins.

Charlie just watched us:)

We were married along the woods at a park here in Green Bay.

August 21st twelve people from Norway came to stay with us as house guests for Duey's cousin's wedding, and left September 2nd as family.

Getting ready for the wedding. We did very good getting 14 people ready in 2 1/2 baths.

Duey is a 49er fan, so they had fun giving him a hard time filling our house with Packer stuff:)

They had a photographer come to our place to take their pictures, so after awhile they told Duey to come to the front for a pic cause it was more pretty in the front)

To say the least Charlie is REALLY sad right now after enjoying all the attention. On the 3rd day I came home earlier than everyone else and Charlie ran around looking for them. Every morning I got up for work he would pace from door to door to basement steps waiting for one of them to get up. Hakan would always be up first, so him and Charlie would sit on the couch together till others started getting up. By the end Charlie was sleeping with a couple of the Norwegians instead of Duey and I. We all enjoyed having so much life in our house and now it is so quiet and lonely!

Friday when I was in Portland 12 people from Norway arrived at our place. They are close friends of Duey's aunt and uncle and are here for his cousin's wedding this coming Saturday. They will be staying with us till they fly back next week Wed. To say the least our house is full of life and we are enjoying every minute of it!:)
