Weekend

Friday we went to Duey's uncle Gary's for supper. If laughter is really so good for you between his uncle and aunt we should be good for awhile:)

Saturday we did some deep cleaning and Duey's aunt Teri and uncle stopped over for awhile.

Christmas Day

We went to Duey's aunt's for supper on Christmas. It was a really nice evening. The kids all love Duey, so he enjoyed soaking up all the attention they gave him:)

The other day we had a fun and relaxing evening at Duey's cousin's. We all played the boy's Wii and it was so much fun!:)

Starting on the Spare Bedroom

Yes, I know most normal people don't take the trim off to paint; but this is my husband. It would drive him crazy if there was any white showing around the trim, and plus this way he gets to use the air compressor and trim gun to put it back up:)

Finally it's My Turn

Duey always thinks he's funny by calling me when I'm at work in the evenings to "just let me know" how he has the cat and dog curled up on his lap together. Well, this last weekend it was finally my turn to enjoy the two lap warmers at the same time.

Holiday Card

We were trying to decide how to do our yearly picture since we knew there was no way all the animals would cooperate at the same time. Duey brought up the intro to the Brady Bunch show, and then thought I was crazy for going with the idea. Anyway, mom helped me design this (with CM Storybook Creator Plus) and I don't think it turned out as cheesy as Duey though it would:)

The Before

Ok- so here's a before shot of our next project. This is the front bedroom that we have never really done anything with. After six years of hoping for it to be a baby room, we are just going to force ourselves to do something else with it. We can't bring ourselves to give up yet; but at least we will be able to enjoy this room instead of it being a sore spot in the house, and ending up being a hodge podge collect all.

Snow Day

No school today!!!!:)
Thank goodness for snow blowers- I can't imagine having to shovel snow that deep.

Harley didn't want to come out till I had his coop shoveled.

Charlie is so determined to be by Harley all the time- I can't believe he made it thru the deep snow! When we went in he was covered in little balls of snow, and then he slept and slept SO sound after that workout:)

Saturday we had our holiday party. It was a fun night of pizza and bowling:)

Black Friday

I couldn't find any takers to go with me, so I went by myself. I was at Kohls for 4am (they had a portable DVD player plus the "Big Ones" towels for $2.49!)- then to Shopko for 5 and on to Bath and Body, then Best Buy (got there too late though). People are crazy, but I kinda get a kick out of it and going.

I was back home by 9, so Duey and I packed up a bunch of stuff we needed to bring to mom and dad and went there for the day.

Aunt Karen was scrapbooking with mom for a couple days, so it worked out great that we got to see her too for awhile:)

Wherever Harley is Charlie thinks he needs to be. It was funny watching him trying to keep up with Harley in snow that was almost as deep as his legs.
